GT Big Band

In 1974, a trumpet player called Gordon Tetley put seventeen musicians together and gave them a name. Fifty years on, we're still going — same size, same spirit, mostly different faces.

We've played function rooms, hotel bars and social clubs right across Bradford and Shipley over the years. These days you'll find us every Tuesday night at the Caroline Street Social Club in Saltaire, still playing it the way Gordon would recognise — brass, reeds and rhythm, played properly, played live.
